At the panel eleven residents of South Ockendon were seen and spoken to regarding theirs and their children's anti-social behaviour and as a result, the following sanctions decided on:
- Six Warnings
- Nine Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABC's)
- Two Parental Control Agreements (PCA's)
- Three referrals to the Youth and Inclusion Support Panel (YISP)
- Two Notice Seeking Possession (NSP)
Information Point:
The ASB Team working with members of the South Ockendon Neighbourhood Policing Team created the Final Intervention Panel process in late 2006.
The panel challenges individuals with evidence of their anti-social behaviour and decides on appropriate sanctions; anything from Warnings to Eviction (the latter applies if a council tenant) and Acceptable Behaviour Contracts to ASBO's and Injunctions.
The panel on this occasion was made up of the ASB Team, members of the South Ockendon Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Youth and Inclusion Project.
